Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Richmond is again a sponsor of the Richmond Kids’ Expo, held February 27th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Richmond Raceway Complex.

Children are urged to collect and bring their pop tops to this event. A $100 gift card will be given to the top entry (measured by weight 5lb. min.). All children who turn in the pop tabs at the Expo will also be awarded a prize.

Opened on April 15, 1980, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.

The Pop Tab program at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond is a great way for families, schools, organizations, businesses and individuals to support this home-away-from-home for ill or injured children and their families. Through combined efforts, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond has collected more than $8,000 from pop tab recycling. The best part is that it's easy to do!

A pop tab is the flip top on aluminum cans. Due to space and cleanliness we do not collect the whole can – only the tab top. You can collect them in coffee cans, baggies or boxes.
